Spicy Chicken Taquitos (Air Fryer)



Ingredients

Spicy Shredded Chicken Yield 3 1/2 cups


2 large chicken breast

1 jar of salsa (spicy)

1 Teaspoon of jerk seasoning

S & P To taste


Directions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper

  • Place chicken in crock pot

  • Pour salsa over chicken to cover

  • Add jerk seasoning

  • Set crock pot to high, cover, and cook for at least 4 hours

  • Shred with a fork and enjoy


Ingredients: Taquitos

2 cups shredded chicken

4 ounces cream cheese (softened)

1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese grated

4 ounce jalapeños or Chile of choice

1 tea. cumin

1/2 Tbs fajita seasoning

10 small flour tortillas

olive oil or cooking spray


Optional Garnish:

  • Sour cream

  • Guacamole

  • Pico de Gallo

  • Lime

  • Hot sauce


Directions


  1. Prepare Shredded chicken first


  2. In a bowl combine and mix the chicken (drained of juice), softened cream cheese, chilies, and cheddar cheese set aside


  3. Preheat the Air Fryer to 400° for 3 minutes.


  4. Lay a tortilla flat and place 3 tablespoons of the chicken cheese mixture close to one end of the tortilla then roll tightly starting at the filled side. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.


  5. Place fold sides down in air fryer . Make sure they are not touching in basket. Lightly brush or spray rolled taquitos with oil.


  6. Cook 6-8 minutes at 400 degrees until crispy and golden. Be sure to flip them halfway through.


  7. Serve hot, add toppings if desired and enjoy!
